“Many young people would admit to being constantly on the web, but a new poll has revealed this addiction to being online may be worse than first thought.
A poll of 18 to 25-year-olds has revealed that the majority value the internet above daylight, a good night’s sleep and hot water.
The only thing they said were more important was freedom of speech.
The poll was carried out by Nottingham-based Hillarys Blinds and involved asking 2,465 young people to rank the most important aspects of their life.
Freedom of speech topped the list, with 81 per cent saying it was key to a good quality of life.”
